Integrated midwifery + hospital care is for families who want midwifery support and guidance in preparing for childbirth and the postpartum period, while continuing to plan for a birth in a hospital based setting.

What to Expect Prenatally             

• visits in your home, as we prepare to welcome your baby (visits are 60-90 minutes)

• lifestyle + nutrition + herbal recommendations

• health assessments of you and baby at each visit, including: belly checks for estimating fetal weight, growth, position and fluid levels, blood pressure, heart rate, pulse and overall wellness.

• prenatal testing options and what to expect at each stage of pregnancy.

• labs and tests done at our home visits, and referrals for any ultrasounds needed.

• individualized education on potential complications and medical interventions,  ensuring that you are well informed and empowered to make informed decisions about your care.  

• support in co-creating a birth and postpartum plan

• time for your questions to be answered

• referrals to a rich community of perinatal support practitioners, as needed.

unfolds at the planned hospital of your choice.

If you choose our FULL MOON support package, your labor will be attended by my doula partner

Heather Hughes.

I will begin postpartum care, once you return home.
